Philip is married to Claire and they have two children, Jamie and Annie. He hails from Blackburn, where he was a member of Christ Church. Prior to entering the ordained ministry, Philip did a variety of jobs in Primary education and was on the training team for Blackburn Diocesan Youth & Children’s Department. Philip trained for the ministry at Oak Hill Theological College in London where he was the Senior Student. After theological college, Philip served his curacy at St Andrew’s Church in Kirk Ella, in the East Riding Of Yorkshire before becoming the Acting Vicar at St Luke’s Church In Willerby. Philip is a keen musician and has served on music teams at Spring Harvest Word Alive and both the Northern and London Men’s Conventions. Philip also is a visiting lecturer at Oak Hill in the areas of both Spirituality and Church Music.  In his spare time, Philip likes to play table tennis and is the proud owner of an authentic original Rowe Vinyl Juke Box!
